Team Stinga Racing ventured to the sunshine state last weekend to test out the facilities and course layout for next years world titles. With Greg and Kevin running all three races, it was always going to be a big day, regardless of the outcome. Our team, comprising of former multiple women's world champion Ann Procter, Current Jnr boys world champion Jack Houston and another former world champion, Stephen Robertson in the men's division.  All the team were excited yet focused on the job ahead, with this being the official test event for the Queensland venue.

In true style, Ann lead her race from start to finish, starting the day for TSR in fine fashion with a faultless performance. Ann, Greg and Kevin certainly make a formidable team in this style of racing.

Just as convincing, and formidable was the performance from Jack Houston who also dominated the field and showed why he is the best junior in the world at the moment. Another strong showing in rough conditions which seem to suit the spring in kangaroo jack's step! He certainly has laid the challenge for all those juniors out there who want his spot in the Australian team!

In the men's event, a very strong showing by Stephen Robertson in his first outing behind Stinga F1 seen TSR battle it out amongst the top three positions with some very tough competition. This was an intriguing race providing plenty of action for the spectators, none more so then Victorian boat Noizworks which nose dived and flipped over at the start. Thankfully no one was hurt, however the red flag was out and a restart was called. After the restart, a very competitive race evolved which finished with Stephen taking third place.

Overall a very successful trip to Queensland for Team Stinga Racing finishing on the podium in all three races. Special thanks to Don and Gerry Gully from East Coast Commercials, Shane "Japs" Helson (just for being Japs) and also to Linda Keys for supplying us with Photo's from the event.
