A planned return to grafton this weekend will now not go ahead due the the recent heavy rainfalls in northern NSW and south east Queensland. Team Stinga Racing was packed and prepared to head north for a 2nd attempt to conquer the clarance river after the event was postponed when heavy rain made for poor visibility and saftey on the October long weekend.

However, news arrived earlier this week that the Clarance river was certain to follow that of other rivers to the north and flood quite dramatically. Based on this news, organisers were forced to make the decision to cancel the race. And just as well, as i'm sure many of you have witnessed the news footage of the water lapping quite close to the floor level of the Crown Hotel.

Further to the conditions that have caused the cancellation of the Grafton Bridge to Bridge, Team Stinga Racing send our thoughts & best wishes to not only the people of Grafton, but indeed to every Australian affected by this extreme weather and rainfall, especially those who are enduring trying times in severley affected area's.
